came for a wedding, stayed for all the delicious bites.

it’s not a true scally family adventure without eating our way through it & san fran did not disappoint!

ramen, kbbq, oysters, steak, pasta, SHRIMP, we had a little bit of everything and then some! thanks for all the incredible places that fed us, well be back!

next up, europe!

A weekend itinerary for San Francisco inspired by a recent trip back to the city with my sister ☺️

A menu is the only piece of a room's design that a guest picks up and holds.

Which makes it do more work than its size suggests. The weight of the paper, the edge, how the type sits, how soft it has gone with use: all of it has made an argument about what this place costs before anyone reads a single number.

It is also the piece that gets remade most often, so it has to survive its own updates. A menu that only works with today's dishes on it was never really finished.

I love and respect Italian food which is why I refuse to eat anything but the best 🤷‍♀️

A classic special night spot, we got lucky when we walked in at 6:30 that they happened to have two seats open

Only the freshest ingredients, perfectly al dente pasta, strong and punchy flavors that meld beautifully with each other. Truly a masterpiece 🍅

If you’re looking for one of the best Italian restaurants in SF, you can’t go wrong with @thetailorssonsf 🍝
