To my baby. My sister. My friend. I love you so much. Really thank God for you. Happy birthday to the first little sister I was blessed with. Talia, you’re such a light and inspiration, not only to me, but to everyone around you. If they don’t know it, sucks for them.
Happy birthdayyyyyy!!!! @thetaliasamuels

Name: Talia Samuels
Hometown: Orlando, Florida
Classification: Graduating Senior
Major: Psychology

As the annual auditions for The Essence Dance Line approaches, as a graduating senior, the one piece of advice that I will give to those attending auditions is to push past your limits. It’s going to be a challenge and a lot of information to take in, so absorb as much as you can and put in 1000%.

The most valuable lesson I have learned this year as a Captain and veteran member of The Essence Dance Line is to give yourself grace. Continue to always strive to be the best and a great example but understand you’re human and give yourself grace. People make mistakes but you must care enough to try and fix it and just make an effort not to make the same mistakes.
