Speechless... 🩷🥹

This afternoon I received a message from Miss M asking if we could make our way back to the theatre for an extra adjudication award.

At that point, Zara had absolutely no idea. She thought we were just heading back early to watch her teachers perform.

Then came the announcement... Zara had been awarded the Tap Scholarship.🤩🥹

When her name was called, the look on her face said it all. Pure shock, excitement and disbelief. A moment we'll never forget.

To be recognised with the Tap Scholarship amongst so many incredibly talented dancers is such an honour.

Thank you tol @marleyrose_ for your adjudication and belief in Zara and @dancelifeunite for this special award @thetapprojectau and @tommyj.egan for this generous prize! This truly means the world to Zara!

Every early morning, late night, sore feet, tears, laughter and countless hours of hard work have all led to this moment.

Zara, you continue to amaze us with your determination, your love for dance and the way you carry yourself both on and off the stage. We are endlessly proud of not just the dancer you are becoming, but the beautiful, humble little person you are.

Thank you to your incredible teachers and the entire @legsdanceofficial family for believing in you, encouraging you and giving you every opportunity to grow. Your guidance and support mean more than you'll ever know.

What a way to finish an unforgettable competition

Congratulations, Zara, on your Tap Scholarship. We couldn't be prouder. 💙✨
