Being a mom, building a business, and trying to remember who you are outside of ALL the titles? Girl, it’s a lot! 😩😂

On this episode of Moms Unfiltered, I’m joined by Chef Starr, owner of @thetasterymd, for an unfiltered conversation about motherhood, entrepreneurship, and everything in between!

From chasing her culinary dreams later in life to learning that the customer is NOT always right, Chef Starr drops some gems about navigating business while raising three children.

And of course, we had to get into some kitchen confessions, mom hacks, and a few food debates! 👀🍗

Soup season is here, and Chef Starr of @thetasterymd has the perfect recipe for it. 🍅🥣

Her roasted tomato bisque is creamy, comforting, and even better with a grilled cheese on the side.

Tomato bisque, because a bowl of soup can absolutely be the main character.

Fresh tomatoes roasted at 400°, sweet roasted garlic, vegetable stock, smoked sea salt, black pepper, and just a touch of honey to bring it all together.

The roasting is what takes this from “tomato soup” to okayyyy, Chef.
Smooth, rich, savory, slightly smoky, and made for dipping something buttery and crispy into.

This is your sign to grab those tomatoes and turn them into something cozy.
Save this one for soup season.

Birthday eve activity unlocked: 👩🏾‍🍳✨

As someone who doesn’t typically love to cook, I was a little nervous walking into my cooking class at @thetasterymd… but, it was WAY easier than I expected! 😂

Sometimes adulting is just trying something new and realizing, “Wait… I actually CAN do this.”

10/10 would recommend adding a cooking class to your solo date rotation! 🧡🍴

Follow @thetasterymd to stay up to date on the next class!

✨Teresa’s Thursday Reminder | TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT✨

If you want different results, you have to try something different.

Who knew attempting a simple kitchen tip from @thechefstarr would turn into a full life lesson/reminder?!

I was feeling so awkward during this entire video—wrong angle, wrong placement, wrong knife. But even in the discomfort, I kept going.

If you’re trying to get to a new place in life, don’t be afraid to change your approach—or even just change the way you look at your situation. You’ve got this!

Taking my own advice and bringing my story series here to Reels! Also, run and support @thetasterymd👩🏽‍🍳

Please & Thank You… xoxo, t
