POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Just finished the last Telelibrary call of the year. I've done a lot of other things in the past 12 months—and a lot of other things have happened to me—so the System only had 258 performances this year. The place it holds in my life is changing, and I'm still figuring that out, but in the meantime, giving some very belated confetti to one of the milestones this piece crossed this year:

The Telelibrary has passed 1700 calls since its inception in 2020. That's over 85,000 minutes of performances - of working directly with audiences, of creating accidental stories together, making paths through a pathless place by wandering, and of doing the strange, particular thing that I do best, and which delights me to no end.

Some calls are hilarious. Some calls are absurd. Some bend under the weight of hard burdens, and some calls are as desperately buoyant as a life vest. Some calls are like breakthroughs, some calls are like therapy, some calls are transformational, some calls end with an abrupt click.

Every week is like this.

I have done this. I do this. I get to keep doing it.
I am trying to remember that.

Thanks in all directions. I'm still learning a lot today.
