I’m still reminiscing over all that took place at Refresh, and these pictures bring back so many of my favorite moments. 🩵This past week, we had our prayer call, and my heart was overflowing with joy and love hearing the breakthroughs and revelations the ladies left with and what God has continued to show them since being home.🙏

It reminded me how much it matters to have women in your life who value you, pray for you, and call out the champion in you. When you’re carrying so much and trying to be there for everyone else, having someone listen and remind you of what God has placed inside you can make such a difference.💗

From the hugs at our welcome reception to praying on the beach, laughing in the lazy river, worshipping together, and sharing our hearts around the fire, some of the sweetest moments were watching women open up and realize they were with people who understood them.

My heart for Refresh has always been to create a place where women can come as they are, feel valued, hear from God, and build friendships with like-minded women who want to see them become all God created them to be. Hearing their stories on our call reminded me why this means so much to me and how we get to keep encouraging each other long after the weekend ends.🦋

If you’ve been longing for this kind of community, there’s a place for you here, too.
✨Comment COMMUNITY, and we’ll send you the details for our next prayer call and to join our private fb group. 💕

Sometimes, the story we believe about ourselves started long before we realized we were believing it.

Maybe it was something someone said.
Something that happened.
A moment that made you feel like you weren’t enough.

And over time, that story can start showing up everywhere—in the way you mother, the way you lead, the way you make decisions, and even the way you see your calling.

But just because a story is familiar doesn’t mean it’s true.

And this is something I’ve been thinking about a lot:

What if the story you’ve been believing about yourself isn’t the story God is telling about you?

Theresa and I talked about this on the latest episode of She Can Share, especially the difference between guilt and shame.

Guilt says, “I did something wrong.”

Shame says, “Something is wrong with me.”

Those are very different messages.

And I think sometimes the work God wants to do in us isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about allowing Him to show us who we’ve always been in Him.

Loved. Chosen. Equipped.

So maybe it’s time to question the story.

Not with shame.
Not with striving.
But with God’s truth. 🤍

What if you stopped measuring whether you’re a good mom by how well you’re doing?

Because motherhood isn’t a performance.
And a hard moment doesn’t get to define who you are.

There are so many things we can carry from childhood—words that were spoken over us, labels we believed, moments that made us question whether we were enough.

And sometimes those same lies follow us into motherhood.

Theresa said something in this conversation that I can’t stop thinking about:

“I am a good mom, not by what I do but because of who I am and whose I am.”

That changes everything.

You don’t have to earn your worth by getting it all right.
You don’t have to be a perfect mom to be a good mom.
And when you mess up? You can receive grace, go to God, repair what needs repairing, and keep leading from the identity He gave you.

Motherhood is a mantle of leadership.
And God chose you for your family. 🤍

If you’ve ever whispered, “I’m a bad mom,” I hope this conversation reminds you that one hard moment is not your identity.

And if this conversation resonates with you, go connect with Theresa @thetheresatodd and check out The BAD Mom Show. She has created such a meaningful space for moms who want to grow in confidence, faith, and leadership—and I think you’ll love what she’s offering. 🤍

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR REFRESH. 🦋

And if you’ve been watching from the sidelines…
If you’ve been curious…
If something in your heart has gotten a little excited every time you’ve seen me share about Refresh…

Please don’t ignore that stirring.

I believe with everything in me that God is going to meet us in a powerful way September 24–27.

This isn’t just a weekend away.
It’s a space to step out of the noise, hear God clearly, and realign with the woman He is calling you to become.

We’re going to release what no longer belongs in this season.
Heal what has been holding us back.
Realign what has gotten out of order.
And leave ready to walk differently.🌊

The woman who arrives on Thursday will not be the same woman who leaves on Sunday.

You’ll leave lighter. Clearer. Stronger. More aligned with God, your purpose, and your priorities.🙏

Because when you get better, every area of your life gets better—the way you lead, love, parent, serve, work, and show up for what matters most.

Maybe you’ve been waiting for one more nudge.
This is it. 🦋

Registration closes TODAY.

Don’t watch from the sidelines and wish you had been in the room.

Come experience Refresh.
Come expectant.
Come ready for God to do something new.

Destination: Transformation. 🦋

Have you ever felt like things just aren’t working the way they used to—and you can’t quite figure out why?

Sometimes we keep asking God to bless an old strategy when He’s inviting us into a new season.

Maybe you don’t need to try harder.
Maybe you need to realign.

Join me TOMORROW for my LIVE webinar

✨ IS GOD TRYING TO GET YOUR ATTENTION?
3 signs your current season needs a shift—and how to discern what God is asking you to do next.

📅 Wednesday, August 26
⏰ 11 AM CT | 12 PM ET

We’re going to talk about how to recognize where God may be trying to get your attention, what may need to shift, and how to create enough space to hear what He’s asking of you next.

Because realignment doesn’t always mean something is wrong.

Sometimes God realigns us because He’s preparing us for what’s next.

I’ll also be sharing some special Refresh opportunities + bonuses during our time together. 💙

Some conversations don’t just inspire you—they cause you to stop and take inventory of your own life.

That’s exactly what this conversation did. 💙

Rocky and I talked about what God has taught us through leadership, the mindsets that can quietly keep ambitious women stuck, and why sometimes the most productive thing we can do is create space to hear from God again.

We also talked about something I believe deeply: you don’t have to choose between being ambitious and being surrendered. But you do have to make sure your ambition is aligned with what God is asking of you in this season.

If you’re carrying a lot right now—leadership, business, ministry, family, big dreams—I think there’s something in this conversation for you.

My favorite part was my advice at the end about being your spiritual chiropractor 😉

🎥 tell me in the comments: What was the ONE thing that made you stop and think differently?🛑

And if this conversation resonates with you, it’s just a glimpse of the kind of space we’re creating at Refresh this September. 💙
