I missed yesterday's post because I haven't finished anything of my own since the Quiltcon mini swap. Today is Day 15: Quilty Friends!! I have aquired a lot and I sadly don't have pics of them all. Some I have known for years, some I've just met face to face at Quiltcon. The guild I belong to is growing every month, so I'm meeting more all the time. It is Father's Day here in the UK and, for some, this is a really lovely day...for others though, this can be a very raw, emotionally charged & emotionally fraught day for a variety of reasons. Sending lots of love and massive hugs to those who find today a struggle - you are NOT alone! To @bylancer and my swap group the #wonkystars2018bestgroupever I have been out of town vending at a quilt show (that’s one of my grandgirls buried in the back seat 😜) I have envelopes to open and a few stars to complete but not to worry! Today starts Week 5 on the #rowsofcatsalong !! Nose and Whiskers appliqué or embroidery this week. Trust me I wasn’t looking forward to this week as a patchwork girl but I started yesterday and it’s not so bad. I will share how I did mine soon. There are lots of great ideas already with heart noses and just doing a few cats and not all of them.
