Book Club Part 13 🔮📚✨

This month we stepped into the cozy, magical, dark-academia world of A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, and as usual, the vibes were immaculate. 🕯️📖

Spencer and Lea hosted and their setup was all cozy academia, with a wall of books, candles, and magical details. We also got to celebrate the newlyweds of Book Club, Brittany & Kelan!! 💍♥️

We worked our way through a word search, crossword, and some AMAZING discussions!

Then came one of our favorite parts… reenacting some of the book’s very descriptive choices 😂

Of course, we finished with trivia (and prizes!) before wrapping up the afternoon by making our very own simmer pot bags. A little bit of magic to take home with us.

🔥 UP NEXT: Red Rising by Pierce Brown! 🚀

Looks like our next meeting is going to be a little less cozy academia and a LOT more revolution. 👀

Thinking about starting your own book club? Follow along for tips, ideas, games, themed menus, and everything you need to make your meetings fun, memorable, and easy to plan. 📚✨

Mr & Mrs Kelan and Brittany Liparoto! They tied the knot on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026. What an incredible celebration it was! The beauty and love permeated through the whole vineyard. With their close friends and family, they said their “I do’s” and started off on their new life chapter together! I was so honored to be there to help capture their day! I love you both and I am so happy you found each other on that fateful Disneyland trip 😍

Garden update!
What I originally thought would take 5 hours to dig, took me well over 60. I’m proud of where it has gotten and excited for what is to come!

Book Club Part 10 (Amaze!!) 🚀🌌

This month we launched into “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir and somehow every meeting keeps outdoing the last???

Nick & Sofy hosted, and let’s just say…the bar has officially been raised. We entered through a full tunnel, complete with math equations, to an “airlock” with a custom greeting by Georgina, met a life-sized Rocky, and were surrounded by space-station-level decor.

The food was just as out of this world: “me-burgers,” “black hole dip,” “astrophage,” “petrova lines,” and so much more.

We, of course, had our word search, crossword, trivia, discussions, and ended the afternoon painting our very own galaxies. ♥️

Up next: Kelan’s pick, Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins 🌅🔥 …may the odds be ever in our favor!!!!

In 2025, my @thethirdrogers and I decided we wanted a library for her and thought we could get someone to do it for us. Two days into the build, I saw it wasn’t going to be up to our standards and decided to take things over. Luckily, @thethirdrogers is a master at sketching exactly what she wanted and had a plethora of Pinterest boards and YT videos for me to watch. I was up for the challenge and found myself in there late at night and on the weekends. Sometimes my friends would come over or my kids would lend a hand and the end result…exactly what we wanted! Thank you @brownstonedesigns for your constant consulting and mastery of color!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! WOW! What an adventurous expansive year! Not only did my husband @devinrice book a big movie as an actor, we got to go to Europe for him to film! It was our first trip to Europe and we fell in love with London and Paris! I got to be on set the whole time and got to watch him kill it! And hang out with an amazing cast and crew which was led by the incredible @rebelwilson who wrote, directed and stars in it! Been learning so many incredible things as artists, what art means and who we are as artists and the impacts we want to create! Have made some incredible friends and created incredible memories with the love of my life! Movies are magic and I’m so excited to act in and make more magic this year! And create our continuing incredible life into more and more magic like art! And I wish everyone the BEST FREAKING YEAR YET!! ❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨ #happynewyear #magic #2026 #love

This year we had some trees that got sick and needed to be brought down. Because there was so many of them, I decided to get a little workout going and became somewhat of a lumberjack. My son got in on it too.

But we had a problem, we don’t have a wood burning fireplace. As luck would have it however, there was this cement square 12’ x 12’ so we decided to start building a couple walls and see where the wood got us. This is where it’s at currently, although we have only used about 1/8th of the wood available.

The rain has hit pretty hard and one of the walls fell down after taking these pictures so I’m considering rebuilding with just rounds instead of chopped wood. The goal is to make a “Hagrid Hut” of sorts.

As there will be a, literal ton, of extra wood, any ideas of what else we should make?

November 🍁 What an incredible month of family, friends and memories made! From my LA trip to being at home with Lukas, to Leon, Mexico and then Clearwater for a wedding, my godsons birthday and work, to coming home and hosting my first Thanksgiving with some of my favorite people and adventuring around town with my parents. I have the fullest heart ♥️ Thank you to ALL!!!

Project drop number 2. Because the Garden had to be out on hold a bit while we spruced up the bedroom. Timelapse at the end showing paneling. It was quite the experience and I had helping hands on many occasions.
