All of these books have either been pivotal in my reading journey in some way, or have just really stuck with me and probably will for life! It was so hard to choose 😭

-while I’ve never “stopped” reading, this series and ACOTAR are what made me fall in love with it again and start reading more heavily as an adult. They’ll always have a special place in my heart!

Mr. Mercedes series and Pet Sematary by Stephen King
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
-my faves in the mystery/thriller/horror genre

Babel by RF Kuang
-as a former linguist, this book really resonated with me and is probably my fav dark academia book besides Ninth House

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
-these were EVERYTHING to me in my teenage years!

A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket
-this series is what made me absolutely fall in love with reading as a child. Yes, even more so than HP!

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
- my favorite classic (so far) ❤️

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower
-duh

Michigan Chillers series by Johnathan Rand
-I loved spooky stuff even as a kid 😂 loved these books!!
