Our 60's Winter Fest Party at Hagerman Corners Community Homes. Event sponsored by Quick Action Grant by United Way. Organized and facilitated by (SMCAT) South Markham Community Action Table. The event is to promote mental health wellness in the community. This is an opportunity for the residents in South Markham to socialize and interact with each other and reduce isolation, especially for those who live alone. The group had a wonderful time.

Ariel Brown who we know as, “Ariel View” began singing from before she could remember. Her humble beginnings started in the church, however, she reclaimed her voice for herself at about age 10. Since then, Ariel has been evolving musically. After finding the confidence in highschool, Ariel became aware of her passion for Vocal Performance as she performed in front of her peers. Thereafter, she continued her post secondary studies at Carleton University majoring in Vocal Performance.

Ariel has performed at numerous Open Mics including R.I.S.E, OBJX, Clinton’s Bar, Bampot, OnMarz Productions etc, just to name a few. She also started recording her own music on her phone at the age of 20, which can be found on SoundCloud. She released her first 5-song EP “Unruly 23” in April 2022, which can be found on all platforms. She’s on track to releasing her next two Singles “Insane” and “Good Time” in 2024 in addition working on new music and multiple projects. She recently performed both singles at the culmination ceremony of an Artist Development Program at R.I.S.E called “Lights, Camera, Action” (Cohort 2023).

Ariel View is an enchanting songstress serving what she calls 'food for the soul,' intersecting a plate of staple old-school R&B sounds infused with refreshing Neo-Soul. Ariel continues to gain local attention with her covers of late 90s -00s classics, since then acquiring nearly 10K streams across platforms today.
