•CERAMIC UPDATE•
A labour of love, this lamp taught me a lot (like - pay more attention to the clay’s shrinkage rate!)

Will try again with some other variations more in line with my paper sculptures, stay tuned til end of clip for an idea of what that might look like.

Or feel you want to do more than “just make pots”…

I’m running a 2-day Geometric Forms: Sculptural Throwing & Trimming workshop this February at @thethrowingroom. designed for intermediate potters who want more time, focus, and guidance at the wheel.

Over two days, we’ll slow things down and work through throwing larger, building in sections, refining trimming habits, and attaching forms and shapes with confidence — all through a more sculptural, intentional approach to making.

This workshop is less about producing perfect pieces, and more about developing skills and ways of thinking that you can carry back into your own practice. There’ll be space to experiment, ask questions, and work things through at your own pace.

It’s best suited to potters with prior experience (ideally comfortable centring around 1kg), but if you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, feel free to reach out.
