One of the best pubs in Tunbridge Wells is now stocking PIVOT.

Tiger Tavern. Great people, great vibe, great place for a pint.

Whatever you’re drinking this weekend, have a good one 🍻

*TWO GIGS THIS WEEK!*

We’re so looking forward to our upcoming gigs after some awesome music time in Austria, Prague and Germany in the last two weeks.

We’ve got two gigs (one this Friday!) at @brumbrewery in Stirchley, Brum. BIRMINGHAM FRIENDS, HOPEFULLY SEE YOU THERE! We’ll be playing all our songs alongside lots of fun covers. Feel free to send some requests 🤩

We’ve also got a gig this Sunday at @thetigertavern in Tunbridge Wells courtesy of our beautiful friend and INCREDIBLE musician @sorrelnation (seriously, check her out, she’s phenomenal)

In and amongst, we’re joining our super amazing friends we’ve made in Cornwall for the amazing folk/music community down in Torpoint at @dandcmillbrook @edgcumbearms and @thecrosskeys_cawsand for some foot stomping and general fun.

We’ve also got a live radio gig at @cornwallsrewindradio which we’re REALLY excited for, and we’ll be playing lots of our songs ready for our debut album launch in June.

We’ve still got some availability if anyone fancies any gigs this year, including for house concerts! Just drop us a message 💜 We’re happy to travel all over the UK if it’s doable with other shows/gigs we have booked in.

We’ve been a bit quiet over here, wintering in our shed! Tidying up, making Teapots for other people, and planning for the summer. The days are getting longer, if not dryer, and we are gradually coming out of hibernation to sing and play! 🎵🎶

Next weekend a whole bunch of Magic Teapot musicians will take over the Tiger Tavern in Tunbridge Wells for a big jam and singalong, the first of the year! All invited, hope you can solids splash your way to the pub and see you there! Yay! 🤠

One week today I’ll be jamming in our favourite Tunbridge Wells pub with some of our friends and fellow Magic Teapot musicians! Join us for a jolly afternoon of all of our favourite music and good times!

Myself and a group of 17 hospitality industry leaders in Tunbridge Wells have submitted a letter to a government consultation calling for a fundamental change in the way our local bricks and mortar businesses are taxed.

It's clear that businesses in Tunbridge Wells are facing significant challenges as a result of the business rates system which places a disproportionate financial burden on them and prevents investment, growth, and long-term sustainability.

That's why we're calling on the Government to review rateable values to ensure physical businesses are not unfairly disadvantaged compared to online platforms. There needs to be a shift in practice so business rates are applied as a proportion of turnover and applied equally across all sectors.

Hospitality is essential for the survival of our thriving high streets, yet this Government has been taking them for granted. Local businesses in Tunbridge Wells are what drives growth in our town centres, and they deserve to be properly championed.

Use the link in my bio to read out letter and see the full list of recommendations we've asked the Government to review.
