POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I recently finished up at @the_palmerston after 3 wonderful years.

A job that started with a heartbreak and ended in the complete opposite.

Thanks for all the fun, all the laughs and all the friendships. It was the best. Miss you x

On Sunday 30th August, to finish festival festivities, feast and frolic at @the_palmerston!
I’ll be cooking a little journey through some of my favourite Northern Thai dishes. Expect lots of herbs, heat, crispy things, fresh things, smoky things using the glorious bounty of Scottish produce we have here.
I’ll be posting the menu very soon, but if you’d like to come (which I hope you do!) please email the good folk at The Palmerston at the email address on the post (and in my bio).
It would be a true pleasure to cook for you and I hope you’ll come and enjoy! Eat! Relax!

With the Fringe just around the corner, we’re back to our usual August antics: handing over the kitchen to some of our favourite chefs for three Sunday night takeovers.

This year’s Sunday Dinner Series celebrates bold Asian flavours, brilliant cooking and the best of the Scottish larder.

🌶️ 16th – Ghar’s Yash Rajpal brings Chandni Chowk Club, a love letter to the bustling streets of Old Delhi.
🌿 23rd – Sisters Fariya and Sahar Sharif of Parveen’s cook from the heart, celebrating their Pakistani heritage through the seasons of Scotland.
🔥 30th – Moo Noi’s Tida Bradshaw rounds things off with a Northern Thai feast packed with herbs, spice and plenty of flavour.

We’ll be pairing drinks to match each menu, while The Palmerston team digs into the cellar for one-off bottles at one-off prices.

Four chefs. Three dinners. One kitchen.

£50 menu. Email to book: hello@thepalmerstonedinburgh.co.uk

🔥 Spread x Seri and Will’s Korean Night Menu 🔥

Dinner is fast approaching, and Seri Nam and Will Shaw are coming up from Manchester to cook with the bounty of the East Neuk. Fish from @davidlowriefish, veg from @eastneukmarketgarden, and meat from the @butcheryatbowhouse. All producers to celebrate.

Seri and Will’s incredible menu is inspired by their recent trip to Seri’s home in Korea, with a few special ingredients making the journey all the way back to Old Cellardyke Harbour (@thehavencellardyke ).

The cherry on top is Meg Williams’s expertly chosen and beautiful wine list. We’re so grateful and excited that she can make it. Expect some very special bottles and a brilliant evening.

The table is spread. See you there.

Seri and Will will be cooking an abundant fish-focused dinner (@davidlowriefish) inspired by all the delicious things they ate on their recent trip to her home in Korea. They’ll also be using some beautiful ingredients they brought back in a very full suitcase.

Meg has packed a fantastic selection of wines, including a few particularly special bottles, and she can’t wait to share some of her favourites with you.

Tickets are £65. Please direct message us for a payment link.

Come hang, drink, and eat. This one is going to be a blast! We cannot wait to see you all there.

Guests should arrive at 5.30pm. We’ll have a drink in the garden, weather permitting, and dinner will be served at 6.30pm. After dinner, everyone can relax in the pub, which will be open late.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for Spread x Murid’s Afghan Feast at the @thehavencellardyke.

We’re still buzzing and couldn’t have dreamed of a better night or better company. Murid and Cosmo put together an incredible seven-course meal, and Sam poured all the amazing wines he could.

A huge thank you as well to Tina for her beautiful photos of the night, to Tida and Mike on their amazing design work and to @davidlowriefish, @butcheryatbowhouse, and @eastneukmarketgarden for showcasing the very best of what the East Neuk has to offer.

We’re keeping the momentum going, stay tuned here, as Spread will be sharing details soon about our next dinner on May 18th at the Haven.

Thanks again, everyone, for the incredible support. Lots of love from all of us!

Only a few more days until we take over @thehavencellardyke again.

These three friends have been busy preparing for the event.
Murid, who is an amazing chef and poet, will be steering the ship with his delicious Afghan menu; Sam from @montrose.edinburgh will be bringing the goods with some incredible wine; and Cosmo, recently back from @restaurantkadeau in Copenhagen, will be assisting in the kitchen.

We can’t wait to be back hosting this talented trio.

A night of feasting and friends. See you in Fife.
