Hotter than a jalapeño on race day! 🌶️
🎉 Chris leveled up another year, and we celebrated with margarita popsicles (the ultimate recovery fuel).
🏃 Some ran, some floated, but in the end—sweat, smiles, and a cold one in hand was the real finish line. 🍻

IMCA athletes from Multisport Endurance Academy, Rancho Endurance Sports and Sacramento Triathlon Club joined forces for today's Ironman California race rehearsal.
Conditions were spectacular. Descent current in the river, light winds on the bike course and...well the run was a little warm. So not totally perfect.
But we would be lucky to get those conditions on race day.

Ironman California race rehearsal, check! Sunday was PERFECT! The current in the American River was apparent. The pace for the 3000yd swim was about 3 min. per 100 on the way up stream and a 1:11 pace on the way back down. Water temp was 61 degrees. A little cloud cover kept the temp for the 5 hour bike enjoyable. A light headwind on the way out made for a really fun tail wind on the way back. And the run off the bike, well, ya just can't beat the run course. All the trees provide adequate shade and scenery.

Mad props to Rachael Camacho-Treichler for her longest ride to date.
