The halal food options were very limited here so I’m glad we were able to come across this place. Also the pita was super fluffy and yummy and one of the best I’ve ever had! 📍@sonokitchenboba - flagstaff, arizona 🧋 milk tea + sea salt mango + mango snow white 💰 $6.95 + 6.95 + 6.95 the sea salt foam was really yummy and added a nice amount of creaminess plus I loved the tiny mango pieces inside of it. Also +1 for boba being included in the price 📍@thetoastedowlcafe - flagstaff, arizona 🍳 roasted veggie scramble + big fat french toast + vegan breakfast bowl 💰$17.16 + 15.60 + 18.72 the biscuits and french toast were the favorites and it was really lovely they had a vegan menu. kinda pricey but I would recommend because the place was really cute and had really kind staff! 📍@8108lasvegas - las vegas, arizona 🍵ube salted cream matcha 💰$7 I had this place saved and was sooo excited for it. I got a little confused by the menu but it might’ve been the fact that I was super excited for it. It’s a really unique taste that I enjoyed but the cream is A LOT and definitely not for everyone. In the future I would ask for less cream! 📍@pan_asian_thai_sri_lankan - las vegas, nevada 🍜 chicken satay + butter chicken lunch special + orange chicken lunch special + chicken kottu (not pictured) + chicken drunken noodles (not pictured) 💰$5 + 14.95 + 14.95 + 19.99 + 14.95 (I think I actually don’t remember too well) we found a really unique halal pan Asian restaurant and I tried Sri Lankan food for the first time. I was actually super stuffed at this point but I remember the kottu good and kind of like roti + curry. I am a sucker for chicken satay and it was super yummy here as well.

Happy guesstimate birthday week, with an executive decision that 10/23 is now your birthday, to my now 8 year old fur kid. Drove up to Flagstaff early morning to see the golden aspen leaves, and told him that everything the light touches is our kingdom. Found the swing, my new humble abode, and a steaming log. Doggo scrambler as his birthday treat to celebrate him being 8 years old now. He's become an old, handsome, distinguished man. Like me minus the handsome and distinguished part.

Unlike Phoenix (the valley and desert!), Flagstaff is a mountain town with a much cooler temperature and all four seasons! It has lots of green and forests which I’ll share next! I wanted to first share the most exciting part of the trip for me … The Toasted Owl Cafe! 🦉 The Toasted Owl Cafe is an eclectic, family-owned breakfast and brunch restaurant chain in Arizona, famous for its unique blend of dining and vintage shopping @thetoastedowlcafe Every restaurant is packed with vibrant, retro 1970s and 1980s decor, and almost everything inside is FOR SALE! 😱 There were so many things to look at! Figurines, paintings, mugs, posters, t-shirts, lamps …. ALL OWL THEMED! 🦉 Can you believe it, friends????? A owl cafe??!???!!!!? I felt so welcomed when I got there! And I ordered a big omelet breakfast with delicious coffee in the Toasted Owl mug! It was a fantastic meal surrounded by everything owl!
