Digital Dash 📸 Great week with great people & memories I won’t forget. Lots of skiing, lunches, Apres & dinners, with a powder day to end on, but one of the things that stuck with me the most was a conversation I had at the bar with someone who complimented my hat - (no, not the Arc’T). At first I thought he might have been taking the mick being in a busy Après bar with the word ‘sober’ stuck on my forehead, but he was being absolutely genuine and told me he’d been off drinking since December. I said congrats and that I’d been doing the same, and the reasons he gave when I asked were similar to mine. Felt like he was procrastinating all the time, business stagnating, even falling out with his partner too often unnecessarily and essentially just gaining nothing while making everything else harder. @s0berski might not be the biggest brand in the world (yet) but it’s definitely a conversation starter, often met with a nice encounter with a stranger like this one. I’m finding that people are much more comfortable talking about their own drinking habits in public, especially when they can see someone in front of them doing the same with confidence. The last thing he said was that he actually had really enjoyed setting a better example to his friends, and that his courage and commitment had been inspiring the people around him too, which is what this is all about. Proving you can still live life to the full, be social, be present and active without having to do something that goes against what you’re striving for. More stories and more conversations 🗣️ #soberski #soberapres #soberskitrip
