Nearly 300 runners took over Uptown Waterloo for Global Run Day, and wow… what a night. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🔥

Different run clubs.
Different fitness communities.
One shared mission.

To move, connect, celebrate, and remind ourselves just how special this community really is.

A huge shoutout to all of the local run groups who shared their stories, and to every partner, business, and supporter who helped make the day such a success.

And the biggest shoutout goes to Andrew for bringing everyone together and making it all happen. 👏

What stood out most wasn’t the pace, the distance, or the number of runners.

It was seeing hundreds of people from across Waterloo Region show up for one another.

When fitness communities come together, incredible things happen.

The energy was contagious.
The connections were real.
And the future of fitness in our region is brighter than ever.

Next up: Fitness Festival on June 27th at Tapestry Hall 🎉

Another opportunity to celebrate fitness, movement, wellness, and community with some of the best people around.

Let’s kick off summer the only way we know how:

Together.

Let’s party — fitness style. 💪✨

Our warriors need your help to keep their hearts beating! 🐾💔

Today, we have some tough news to share. Three of our beloved pups have tested positive for Heartworm. This disease is silent but deadly, and the road to recovery is incredibly difficult.

The treatment is extremely aggressive and painful. Because of the risks involved, they must remain under 24/7 strict observation after their injections to ensure their safety.

The cost of the injections alone is $500 USD per dog ($1,500 USD total). This is a huge financial mountain for us to climb, and we can’t do it alone.

Please consider donating to give them a second chance at life. Every dollar goes directly toward their medical care. 🙏✨
