The 49th Southwest Regional Conference of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was filled with love, golden moments, enrichment, and the true epitome of sisterhood. I had the privilege of serving on the Regional Heritage and Archives Committee and the Photographer Team from 2022-2024 and representing the committees at the 49th Southwest Region. It was a joy to capture moments from the regional conference, which had over 2,000 sorors in attendance. Reuniting with sorors from my first alumnae chapter, Bayou Lafourche Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, after transferring from my undergraduate chapter was a heartwarming experience. It was lovely that many sorors recognized me from the Delta Box photos and asked to take a picture with me. The conference was also a proud moment for my current alumnae chapter, The Katy Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., of which I am a charter member. The KAAC received several awards as a medium-sized chapter, including • Arts & Letters: Literacy & Film Award • Arts & Letters: Entertainment Artistic Performance Award • Sustaining Our Sisterhood Award • Exemplary Emergency Response Team Award • Economic Development Award • International Awareness & Involvement Award • Physical & Mental Health Award I was overjoyed that the Emergency Response Committee, which I serve as chair, won an award. #dstswr #dst1913 #deltaboxambassador #deltaboxbrandambassador

@katydeltas hosted an outstanding Katy ISD Candidates’ Forum. Soror Malloy did a wonderful job moderating, and special shout-out to the Social Action committee for coordinating. Btw, I love my blazer from @deardelta1913. It’s perfect for Delta Business.
