The photographer and the photos.

One thing you’ll notice about these particular weddings is that they may not be brightly colored but they are filled with personality and so many beautiful moments.

The couples that hire me to photograph their wedding might love color, but more than that they love personality and customization. The couples that hire me are choosing really special and unique elements to weave through their day. They want photos from the start to the finish so they don’t have to worry about staying on timeline “for the photos”. They are not watching the clock. They are watching each other.

Those are the weddings that allow me to fully immerse into the day and create art from my surroundings.

If this sounds like the type of wedding day photography you’re looking for, I would love to chat.

Day 103 of challenging myself to post daily and see what magic comes from it.

This is how beautiful Zugey looked yesterday as she celebrated the quinceañera we had all been eagerly awaiting! Watching her grow since she was just four years old and now seeing her blossom into a beautiful princess—intelligent, sweet, determined, and with such a big heart—has meant so much to me!

Every member of her family has been in front of my lens, and capturing this latest celebration adds another chapter to a story that holds a special place in all our hearts, including mine.

I wish you a lifetime of joy, accomplishments, and blessings, Zugey. I love you dearly, and I love your entire family!

Thank you, Stephanie Romero, for giving me the opportunity to once again capture one of the most special days of your life. I have witnessed the tremendous sacrifices you make every day for your children and the immense love you have for them.

Congratulations to you, to Zugey, and to the entire family!

Something only experience has taught me,

+ pinning a veil back into hair quickly or taking it out without messing up the hairstyle.
+ bustling a wedding dress of any kind. From three points to 12 and multi layered.
+ holding up your train when we walk from different locations to minimize the dirt on the trim.

And so much more than just the photography side of the job. And I love it all because when my brides are happy and stress free, I am happy and stress free!

A new destination for dinner and live entertainment is coming to downtown Tucson. The Skylark Club at The Treasury 1929 makes its debut Friday, October 30, bringing the glamour of a 1940s supper club to life.

The new venue is the result of a partnership between entertainer Mister Bing and restaurateur Danny Scordato. Together, they are creating an evening that pairs live performances with a four course dinner in a setting inspired by legendary supper clubs such as The Copacabana and El Morocco.

Opening night will feature Crystal Stark, a Tucson native, award winning international entertainer and American Idol semifinalist. Her performance, “Babes of the Blues,” celebrates the women who helped shape the classic blues movement.

The evening will include swing music, dancers, showgirls and magicians, along with a menu featuring dishes such as braised short rib, grilled branzino and crab-stuffed chicken.

For those looking for a distinctive night out, The Skylark Club offers a new way to experience Tucson’s entertainment scene.

It takes a village and we had a good one at The Treasury. 👊🏽

Our Frenchy’s crew handled the full design, then jumped into the ceremony-to-reception flip alongside the planner, venue team, and fellow vendors.

A lot goes on between “I do” and dinner. Big thanks to everyone who rolled up their sleeves with us.

Inspired by a vintage 1930s wedding cake design (see last pic) this beauty was done completely in buttercream with hand piped pearls to create the arch patterns on top and bottom tiers. I loved taking the couple's inspiration and customizing it to fit their style. The venue @thetreasury1929 was so fitting for this cake!
