First college game day in the books (of course it was when the weather was 92 degrees and a lightning delay. Wouldn’t be right without it)
God, I love it here. 🐓🤙
(Also of course I’m gonna represent my drum corps)

My competitive DCI career is over. Thank you Troop for the incredible 3 years! I would not be where I am without you.

These are some of my favorite memories from my time.

I am, you are,

I don’t really know what to do for this so imma just be grateful for people.( warning probably corny)

Martin, Probably one of the people I talked to the most across the entire season. And is a core reason why I want to stay with Troopers.

Andrew, One of the realest dudes in the drum corp. Made the hard times easier made the easy times more enjoyable.

Dylan, I wouldn’t want to throw anyone else off that catapult other than you.

Brogan, you got me into this, enough said.

Gabe, If we are both in Troopers next year we have to be seat partners again.

Tarek, Thank you for being the best section leader I have ever had.

Kaleb, legit the funniest dude I have ever met. Also probably the hardest worker I have met.

Tim, You dropped some insane knowledge , and when others where ok with leaving me behind you helped me catch up.

Lastly I want to thank all of Troopers staff for an amazing season. But I want to especially thank Mary. Mary gave me a chance of redemption, she made me push myself, she made me not give in.

These are things I will remember for my entire life.

In January of this year I was cut from the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corp. In mid April I emailed a few people and became the dedicated tuba alternate. After spending a few days filling a mello hole a tuba went home and I was given a drill spot. This season was the best that I could possibly make it. And I’m already excited to audition.(I also finally transcribed dream suite in sea major)

After 3 exciting weeks of teaching, I’m at the airport ready to fly home after another stint of teaching The Troopers!

These musicians have been working relentlessly and I’m super grateful I’ve gotten to teach them. They’ve made incredible strides in just the past few weeks alone, and watching them grow has made me so proud. This has also been an incredible experience for me, as I’ve been able to really push myself as an educator and musician. No matter what, I’ve learned so much with the members and I’m so excited to see where their efforts lead to!

And now I’m flying back to Ohio to teach some band camp with West Clermont High School! I’ll see y’all at Indy during finals week, but until then, keep showing them how to Lasso the Sun!
