🚨 BALI INTRODUCES TEMPORARY FUEL QUEUE MANAGEMENT MEASURES

The Bali Provincial Government is implementing temporary measures to manage long queues at petrol stations (SPBU) from Saturday, 17 October, to Monday, 19 October 2026.

The measures include:

⛽ 1. Odd-Even Refuelling System
An odd-even license plate system will be implemented for the purchase of subsidized fuel at petrol stations across Bali.

🚛 2. Night-Time Refuelling for Trucks
Truck refuelling will be rescheduled to nighttime hours to help reduce daytime congestion.

🚑 3. Priority Access for Emergency Vehicles
Ambulances and fire trucks will receive priority access to fuel.

🛢️ 4. Tighter Controls on Subsidized Fuel Purchases
Fuel purchases will be monitored in accordance with established guidelines, including subsequent refuelling based on fuel consumption and vehicle odometer readings.

👨‍🔧 5. Staff Deployment at Fuel Pumps
Operators will be assigned to fuel pump nozzles to ensure that each nozzle is properly staffed.

📲 6. Improved Fuel Station Services
Additional measures include extended operating hours, stricter monitoring of station schedules, increased fuel tanker deliveries, efforts to maintain fuel stocks, and digital queue management.

HOW DOES THE ODD-EVEN LICENSE PLATE SYSTEM WORK? 👇

🔴 ODD (GANJIL): License plates ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.

🔵 EVEN (GENAP): License plates ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8.

Examples:
• DK 1234 AB → EVEN (GENAP), because the last digit is 4.
• DK 1235 AB → ODD (GANJIL), because the last digit is 5.

Let’s follow the rules, queue responsibly, and work together to keep fuel services running smoothly across Bali. 🇮🇩

Hopefully, the petrol situation in Bali will return to normal soon.

Petrol is one of the essentials we rely on every day to get to work, run our businesses, deliver food, travel, and carry out our daily activities.

This situation affects not only residents and tourists, but also drivers, small businesses, and many people who depend on fuel to earn their living.

Let’s hope for a quick and proper solution so everyone can get back to their daily routines without worrying about finding petrol.

Stay safe - be patient ❤️🇮🇩
