I’ve been building these over the past two years as the software has developed. After two years of development, I’ve always been a bigger fan of Gemini’s model than others on the market because I always know what's coming next.

Even when people tell me ChatGPT's image generator is amazing, I don't always agree. Working with models that haven't been released to the public yet in the developer playground allows me to see exactly what is coming down the Google DeepMind generative AI pipeline.

Developers love to use playful, nostalgic terms for software features, and "Nano Banana" is no different. It’s just a couple of nerds who decided it was a cool name one night, and the rest is marketing history. However, there are always websites ready to steal traffic and your money without delivering what you expect. That’s the reality of the AI world right now. It's exactly why I am always transparent about the models I use, their current capabilities, and what I see coming down the pipeline for our industry before they hit the main chatbots.
