An international convention in Charleston: An American, two Aussies and a Slovakian convene for an Italian dinner @sorelle_chs with one thing in common: Hilton Head! Plus we met 2 new friends at the restaurant who used to live there also! HHI has brought so much love and happiness into my life!

We had such an amazing evening together and the art gallery at @thevendue was the perfect end to our night! 💕

Put The Vendue on your list of places to check out when you’re visiting Charleston, SC!🌴🖼️💖

The entire hotel has such a fun, eclectic style, and as Charleston’s Art Hotel, there’s literally something interesting to look at around every corner! I especially loved all of the unique artwork and rotating exhibits throughout the property, it makes the whole hotel feel like an immersive experience in itself!✨

They also have bikes available for guests, which was such a fun way to get out and explore Charleston!☀️🚲

Both their Rooftop Bar and restaurant, Revival, are open to the public, so you don’t even have to be staying at the hotel to enjoy them, and they are definitely worth the trip!🌅

Thank you again to The Vendue for having us! Your entire team was so welcoming and made our stay feel extra memorable and special💖

The Night Does Not Belong To God
It belongs to us 🖤🫂

Forever wandering the streets of Charleston with you, loving you, celebrating with you. Remembering it all until the night surrounds us and it feels like the first night 11 years ago, and time doesn’t exist 🖤

The birthday trip every year is something I look forward to. To reminisce about my mom, to take a break from the grind I’m always grinding, to be able to breathe and laugh in a safe place with the people I call family. To enjoy life.

I am so lucky to still hold my mom’s best-friends close to my heart, to still have them in my life, to be able to call them my friends, my family, my home. There is so much of my childhood now that I just tell as stories to people, and it’s beautiful feeling to be able to not tell a story as new, but reminisce with the people who did it with you. To also hear stories about my mom before I existed and about how they experienced her is a part of these trips every year that is a great joy to me, and I’m always so overjoyed when I learn something new, finding another piece of my mom, even after transition. Makes her feel relevant, helps the grief feel held. 🫂
She was everywhere this weekend, from the butterflies to the feathers to the spilled drinks she claimed from us all for her share 🤣🍻🫂

Until next time, Chucktown 🖤🪶🦋
