Life lately ✨🌈🐋🌵💃

Holy smokin’ Gemini season, what a whirlwind. With the Sun moving through my 1st house, it felt like someone turned those bright c*nty lights on in every corner of my life at once ✨👀✨ Old structures dismantled, euphoric awakenings, witchy coven meetings, whales breaching right before my eyes and deep healing arriving in the most unexpected places. I’ve also been pouring energy into something really special behind the scenes, and I’m bursting with excitement about it, a beautiful offering is brewing and I can’t wait to share it with you soon! Perhaps one of the sweetest gifts lately has been a few extra months with my 94-year-old grandmother while she’s been temporarily living in Newcastle.. slow lunches, wise elder chats, and soaking up time that I know won’t always be here. And Fire Horse just be absolutely horsin’. Fark moiiiii, this year keeps teaching me the same powerful lesson: come back to centre, come back to self-honouring, again and again and again. God dayum Nelly!! 🐴🔥

I did not grow up with a religion.

No church. No doctrine. No book telling me what was sacred, allowed, or forbidden.

So life became my grand experimental spiritual journey. (For all of us really, right?)

And LOVE really has become my greatest teacher.

Not just romantic love but the kind of love that cracks open the heart, asks for courage, demands honesty, keeps inviting us deeper into ourselves, and asks us to keep fcking going.

Loving myself has been an ongoing journey.

Even with my looks, charm, and obviously being cool af 🤣, I have struggled deeply with myself. I have taken myself to places I wouldn’t wish on others, & my self harm started at a very young age for me -

Yet one of my greatest gifts has become my willingness to journey into the underworld to navigate it, accept it, love what I find there, and allow it to resurrect me into a new version of myself. Im sure you’ve been there too.

On this journey, I’ve deeply resonated with the teachings of @thevenuspath and what is called the Mystery Religion of Love.

Its initiations are heartbreak, devotion, longing, attachment, forgiveness, beauty, grief, death, ecstasy, and surrender.

It is bowing at the altar of the human heart and learning from her…

Because the heart wants to feel.

She will move you through heart explosions, heart openings, heartaches, and heartbreaks.

She will ask you to love anyway

To stay open anyway

To keep choosing life anyway…even when it hurts more than anything..hurts the absolute most…you keep staying open…

The Mystery Religion of Love, to me, is where the human heart is our teacher, & every experience of LOVE becomes the path of initiation. 💕

It is not only love and beauty, but also chaos, transformation, death, and rebirth. Full spectrum, that’s the goddess, that’s earth, that’s life itself.

I am forever a student of this mystery & so forever grateful & sometimes very intimidated 😆 for the ways it continues to break me open, only to reveal more love underneath.
I’m learning so so so so much.

Sedna, a lesser known dwarf planet that takes 12,000 years to move through the zodiac (approximately 1000 years per sign). Sedna is currently conjunct Uranus in the first degrees of Gemini. It is also conjunct the Pleiades Star Cluster that is part of the Taurus constellation but lays very close to the cusp to Taurus/Gemini cusp.

Sedna is named after an Inuit goddess with a brutal story of betrayal, deceit and abandonment. She was tricked into an unfortunate marriage that landed her on a barren piece of land in the Arctic and when her father came to rescue her, she was cursed by her husband with an extreme storm in which her father threw her overboard and cut her fingers off as she attempted to cling to the side of his kayak. She landed at the bottom of the darkest, coldest hollow of the sea and from the bloody stumps of her fingers birthed the ocean animals of the future, the dolphins and the whales and many others, all with capabilities we have still yet to fully understand.
