please forgive me for the tags guys 🙏 It’s just that people might be interested or really love this story -

“Abuja To Glasgow” - Afoxx

i finally got a copy of this album track list after a lot of months - and - 😱

Afoxx and I go back a long way at this point, we’ve been close companions for a couple of years now but - out of the studio in Abuja he hit me with the mp3s for his first album today since the Afolabi EP…

it’s called “Abuja To Glasgow” - and it’s named after my friend’s dream to visit the city one day… in it, you really hear about this guy’s life 💎. credit to the engineers and artists involved too, the production has been beautiful and it’s a true capture of his world, whilst being dedicated to one day seeing Glasgow 🌆🌃🏙️

Just while I had a copy for licensing submissions and the first version got uploaded on audiomack, I can’t help but be like … I think people might wanna hear this 👀

Afoxx - “Abuja To Glasgow” is … this beautiful work of #afrobeat #hiphop , from Nigeria - and being connected to #glasgow , there are tracks on this thing I was stunned to hear …. and that would rage in any club in this city tbf 🤷 but we’ve been laughing the night away and keeping each other motivated to do this stuff as close friends for a long time now even though… I’m in a punk band in glasgow in Scotland and he’s operating out of a hip hop studio halfway across the world. Afoxx is a *wonderful dude* to be able to be bros with 🙏 and a huge influence on my life. our phone calls across the world every day make me realise the modern world is a gem to live on 🤷

proud to rep this, but I feel like I’ve got my hands on something bigger than me w/ it though so. damn, son 👀

I wonder if one day we could get him here?? we plan on telling the world about it all eventually but for now this record is definitely special 🖤

anyone interested in the project fft hit me up 🙏

otherwise, I know Glasgow would love this.

!!SACRAMENT ANNOUNCEMENT¡¡

We hope everyone has been having an amazing festive period, but we have to interrupt for a moment to inform you that we will be returning to Nice n Sleazy’s on 24th January to give a supporting set to our friends in @adoseofdeathmusic, alongside our new friends in @theviolentpoliteband

For those of you who came to our EP launch, you’ll remember the killer set A Dose of Death put together, and I was lucky enough to catch them after our last show for their Christmas party massacre, so this will be one you won’t wanna miss (I know I always say that, but seriously)

Tickets available in the usual place, get them and come party with us
