✨🌞✨

@jimettarose + @thevoicesofcreation had us meeting God as hurricane Rachel’s wind joined the choir, bringing us one of the most spectacular performances our main stage has experienced.

Rain or shine, thank you for sharing your voices with us!

Behind the hard work, there’s a lot of fun, a lot of energy, and a lot of good people 💕

A little glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes of making an album. A lot of love, care, hard work (and late nights) goes into it — these things take time! Here’s a bit of the journey of ‘Portals’ from karaoke room to record with @jimettarose and @thevoicesofcreation ✨

This was 4am after Church of Sound, in a karaoke room at @mamashelterlondon. Jimetta was teaching the choir ‘Portals’ for the very first time.

Joy as a spiritual practice; That’s Jimetta Rose and The Voices of Creation!

@jimettarose founded @thevoicesofcreation in 2019 alongside organist Jack Maeby, a soul and jazz choir rooted in healing, community, and collective energy.

Rich harmonies, dynamic movement, and heartfelt expression that uplifts every room they enter.

Every week they gather in Leimert Park to sing, grow, and give back.

This October they bring all of that love to the JTMF stage! 🙌🏻

Let us rejoice!
