EKWC ventured to the new location of Optimal Massage & Movement to meet with Kim & her team located at 780 Miles Rd where there is plenty of FREE parking! Thanks to Laura, Marketing Specialist, & Jeni, Office Manager (or Chaos Coordinator!) for reaching out & pulling the meeting together. OMM has added many additions to their menu of wellness & now includes 6 massage rooms. The studio offers so many options to choose from for your wellness journey & personalizes your experience “to meet you where you are”. Weekly classes & events are held at the studio that include yoga with weights, restorative yoga, tai chi, & Qigong classes just to name a few. Drop-ins are welcome but the branded app & the website are two options to register for a class. Various packages are available with perks included!! All of the instructors focus on their client’s needs & they believe every body is different, & every day is different as well. The team will always find a way to not only help you achieve your goals, but will make you comfortable & challenge you as well. The combination of mindfulness connecting with fitness will help you achieve your goals. The team holds events including a women’s circle once a month, private retreats, & various workshops. They cater to your needs holding corporate wellness programs on site or they will come to you. They also hold retreats outside of the studio where clients are all welcome. It is not surprising that they are a provider for Unite for Her as well. OMM believes in a family first environment & taking care of the people that make the commitment to work there where they make a positive impact for anyone who walks in the door. Some of their clients and employees have been around for years! The longevity of both represents just how impactful the team is. Kim & her husband Michael are proud to be celebrating 25 years of Optimal Massage & they are ready to celebrate with you today on site from 2 to 5! They will offer chair massages, Reiki, face painting, crafts & raffles too with plenty of food!! ✨We’re so excited to welcome Oliver to the Charlie & Co. team!✨

Oliver specializes in all hair cuts, the classics to low and mid tapers, mullets, modern mullets, mohawks, mod cuts, and longer hairstyles. He loves a challenge, has a great eye for detail, and enjoys adding his own touch to each style. Most importantly, he genuinely loves seeing his clients leave the chair feeling happy and confident.🔥

Outside of the shop, Oliver enjoys working out, plants, and animals. He’s also really into the stock market, investing, and the business world! He’s always up for a good conversation while you’re in his chair.

We’re excited to have him with us and can’t wait for you all to meet him! Oliver will be starting this Friday! Make sure to come by or book online! 💈

EKWC was excited to meet with Leo and Carlos, the owners of Los Sombreros, the new Mexican/Venezuelan restaurant located in the heart of town at 139 W. Gay Street!
The team had been looking for a spot in West Chester and was very excited to find this location in the perfect spot. We met with them as they were preparing to open their doors for their soft opening!
Leo and Carlos have been in the restaurant business for years and have worked in all capacities before finally becoming owners themselves. Leo gained experience in various restaurants throughout the area, so he knew West Chester was the spot for him!
Leo brings his Mexican heritage and expertise to the menu, while Carlos adds his Venezuelan twist. And, of course, the whole family is involved! Leo’s son has a hand in the kitchen, while Carlos’s daughter runs the social media. Carlos’s wife, Daniles, is the pastry chef, creating her own personal versions of flan and tres leches. De-lish! 😋
Los Sombreros offers a delicious combination of both cultures, featuring Mexican dishes with salty, spicy flavors alongside Venezuelan fare with its own sweet and savory touches. Leo’s expertise shines through in the dishes we all know and love, while Carlos keeps the numbers in check—a true partnership!
The menu has something for everyone, including vegan and vegetarian options, seafood, and a kids’ menu. Leo is especially proud that everything is made from scratch. Their tortillas are made fresh daily, and even their chicken tenders are made right on site!
Los Sombreros is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with extended hours on Friday and Saturday, staying open until 3:00 AM for those late-night cravings!
