POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🔥 CONFIRMED 🔥 We're excited to announce @theweepingwillows are playing our Acoustic Stage on Sunday 20th June 2027 ❤️

This will be their second appearance at Beardy Folk. Check out their website for links to YouTube and socials 🤩

3 x CMAA ‘Golden Guitar’, 2 x Australian Folk Music and Music Victoria Award winners, The Weeping Willows (Laura Coates and Andrew Wrigglesworth) are a couple of old souls, steeped in Bluegrass tradition and draped in Gothic Americana imagery.

They regale their audiences with stories of sunshine and romance, God and The Devil, murder and decay. Real music.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s – “Australian alt. country at its near-finest...” - “Australian Gothic-Country is in good hands.”
Rolling Stone (magazine)

“...timeless arrangements spanning folk, hillbilly and classic country sounds. It's fair to say The Weeping Willows are to Melbourne what Dave Rawlings & Gillian Welch are to Nashville.”
Country Update (magazine)

Let's fill the walled garden and celebrate our 🔟th anniversary together 🥰

It’s great seeing the old pics and how our smiles remain big. Can’t wait for this album to grow
Love ya Tim.

27.11.2025 ✨️ What an absolute pleasure and joy to be in the room to see @theweepingwillows final show (for now), as well as the debut performance by The Bayside Brothers, with the beatiful backdrop of the @chapeloffchapel iconic stained glass window behind them. I haven't taken so few photos in a long time but as my only gig this year, I wanted to totally immerse myself. See you on return!

Also to the lady who was unnecessarily rude to me, I was determined to not let you ruin my night. But know that some people are really sensitive to negativity. I'm sorry you had to get up but your words could have sent me spiralling. So yeah, be nice to everyone and don't be a dick next time!

Thanks Melanie for being lovely though x

In a room full of friends and fans (there is no real difference for these loveliest of people).

But, happily, also the début of The Bayside Brothers (Andy and Damian @damiancafarella).
