Right opposite the West Pier, The West Tap is the perfect seafront spot for a sunny drink, with a south-facing terrace and views straight across Brighton Beach.

We tried the @florisframboise, Münchner Hell, @burningskybeer Three Arms Session IPA and a crisp Vinho Verde rosé and everything went down far too easily 😂

They’ve got 6 rotating draught lines, loads of craft beer, natural & organic wines, cocktails and plenty of low & no-alcohol options too.

Add in friendly, knowledgeable staff and I think I’ve found one of my new favourite summer spots.

☀️ It looked like summer in Brighton today so Sammy 🐶 and Chris hit the streets for a mini pub crawl - dropping off copies of Gullible at some of Brighton’s finest independent pubs and bars.

If you’re heading to Brighton anytime soon, every single one of these spots is an absolute gem and they’ve all now got a copy of Gullible behind the bar (the name and cover art are a little love letter to the city 🥰)

There’s no seagull emoji to sign off with - so here’s a goose. 🪿
