🎨✨ HUES TO HUMANS — A SOLO ART EXHIBITION BY MARCUS FORD ✨🎨 THIS FRIDAY !!

This Friday, October 23rd, come experience HUES TO HUMANS — a collection of art that represents my journey, growth, and dedication to the craft of portraiture. 🖼️

After three years of studying portraits, developing my technique, and pushing my creative boundaries, I’m bringing these pieces together to share more than just faces. Every portrait tells a story. Every color carries emotion. Every piece reflects something deeper about the human experience.

This exhibition is a celebration of growth, expression, identity, and the beauty of seeing humanity through art. Whether you’re an art lover, collector, creative, or simply someone who appreciates a powerful story, I invite you to come experience it for yourself.

📍 The Window on Sixth
112 W. 6th Street, Little Rock, AR 72201

📅 Friday, October 23, 2026
⏰ 6 PM – 9 PM

🖌️ Come experience the art in person.
🖼️ Discover original works.
🤝 Connect with local creatives and art lovers.
💰 Explore available artwork and prints.

Your support means more than you know. Every share, every conversation, every purchase, and every person who walks through the door helps me continue building this vision.

Let’s make this a night to remember. Bring a friend, invite a collector, and come celebrate art, culture, and the stories that make us human.

HUES TO HUMANS — More than a portrait. A story in every shade.

🚨 MY SOLO SHOW IS OCTOBER 23RD! 🚨

HUES TO HUMANS 🖼️🔥

I’ll be bringing together a collection of original paintings exploring people, personality, emotion, culture, and the different ways I see the world through color and expression.

📍 The Window on Sixth
112 W 6th St
Little Rock, AR 72201

🗓️ Friday, October 23rd
⏰ 6–9 PM

This one is extra special because it’s the night before my birthday. 🎂 So come celebrate with me, check out the artwork, meet some good people, and experience the work in person.

ALSO—I NEED Y’ALL’S HELP! 😂

I’m looking for recommendations on the cheapest place to get custom framing done in Little Rock or surrounding areas. I’ve got some larger pieces that need framing, so if you know somebody who does quality work without killing my pockets, PLEASE drop their name in the comments or DM me. 😂🙏🏾

Tag somebody I need to know!

Come support an Arkansas artist on the rise. 🖤🔥

Had an amazing time with @engagemanagement during @conwayartwalk at @brickroomevents! 🙏🏾🎨

Y’all did great as usual. The turnout was incredible, and I honestly don’t see many art events that bring art, culture, entertainment, and community together in one place and keep everything so balanced. That’s a rare feat. 👏🏾

And thank y’all for having my artwork as one of the first pieces welcoming everybody through the door. That meant a lot to me. 🖼️🔥

The flame dancers killed it like they do every year! 🔥🔥

Much love to everybody who stopped by, supported, talked art, or simply came to experience the night. If you missed it this year, make sure Conway Art Walk is on your list next year. Come experience it for yourself!

See y’all next year, Conway! 🖤

Great time, great art, and a great turnout at @m2gallery 🎨🔥

It was dope meeting other artists and connecting with people who appreciate the work. A lot of people surprised me with the compliments and love they gave my art thus far.

I’m realizing a lot of us artists are really closet fans of each other 😂 We be supporting, admiring, and studying each other’s work from a distance, so it’s always cool when you finally get in the same room and show that love.

Definitely grateful for the experience and the connections. More to come. 🖼️✨

“Who or what influences how you work?”

Big thanks to @eclextive

Honestly, that question has a limitless amount of answers. 😂 I only gave the surface-level answer during the interview, because the deeper you go, the more you realize how many things shape the way an artist creates.

People, music, life experiences, emotions, culture, faith, mistakes, conversations, even the things I see on a random day can influence how I approach a piece.

My work is constantly evolving because I’m constantly evolving. 🎨

This interview only scratched the surface. There’s a lot more behind the art.

I've been working on art for an upcoming exhibit about folklore, family and folk magic. This piece is actually a T-shirt painting! Let's talk about family and lore at 6 p.m. Sept. 11 in #Littlerock. #bleachpainting #Folkmagic #Ozarks #ArkansasArtist (PS. Thanks to my model, @georgiearchitect) 😍 A skeleton removes its mask, a bleach painting on a black T-shirt
