Round here...My art is officially on the wall, and I am officially in my new studio. ❤️🎨 It still feels a little like a daydream. I’m still moving in, still making the space mine, but seeing my work hanging there made it all feel real. One artist who has inspired me greatly is Cy Twombly. I’ve always been drawn to the freedom, movement, and emotion in his work—and I love this little piece of his story: while serving in the U.S. Army as a cryptologist in the 1950s, Twombly experimented with drawing in the dark. It became part of his exploration of creating from instinct and movement rather than simply drawing what the eye could see. There’s something about that idea that really speaks to me right now: create without overthinking, trust the movement, and let the work become what it wants to become. It feels especially fitting as I begin this new chapter. ❤️
