📸 Our members, teaching our mentee future leaders in action!

This past Saturday, on September 27th our mentees took a powerful step toward life after the game during our “Life After Sports: Financial Psychology” mentoring session. 🏈🏀⚽️

Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, our young men explored:

💡 Money Autobiography & Psychology – Unpacking their personal money habits and beliefs

💸 NIL Reality Check – Understanding how to responsibly leverage their Name, Image & Likeness

🎯 Goal Setting & Smart Financial Planning – Building a winning strategy beyond athletics

🧠 Mock NIL Deal + Vision Boards – Real-world learning meets future vision

We’re proud to equip these student-athletes not just to succeed on the field, but to thrive off of it — financially, mentally, and professionally. 💼📈

This is the power of mentorship. This is the mission of 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston. Inc.

Lennox, almost 4! 🎉
One more week until we celebrate the incredible little person you’ve become.

Watching you grow has been pure magic. It’s at this moment I realize you are no longer my sweet baby - you’re becoming so uniquely, beautifully YOU.

Suddenly you’re full of perception and opinions— your curiosity lights up every room. I’m in awe of your growing vocabulary, your thoughtful questions, and those surprising moments when you show wisdom beyond your years.

As you’re blossoming into your 4-year-old self, I’m enjoying the right here, right now - this version of you is absolutely perfect. The world is so lucky to have your light, kid. Can’t wait to see the magic you’ll create at 4!

I think these pictures say, “put the kids to nap and meet me under the mistletoe.”

But I’m also open to other captions in the comments. 😂

Hey if you’re reading this, what are you currently doing? I thought we’d be dinner prepping but it’s so cold! We’ve been lounging in our pajamas, watching Christmas movies eating chili and snacks!
