Our biggest lesson from producing a video podcast for the past year? Consistency beats almost everything.

Without doubt one of the most enjoyable things we’ve done since opening The Factory London is producing our flagship show, The World Cup Of.

We’re less than a year in, and with a core team of just three, we’ve:

- Created over 400 short-form videos
- Reached audiences in 113 countries
- Released new content every single week without missing one
- Built a subscription business across Patreon and Spotify

Each episode takes an ordinary subject, whether it’s Forgotten TV Shows, Terrible Jobs, Insults or National Stereotypes, and treats it with the seriousness of an actual FIFA World Cup.

32 entries are split into eight groups of four. The strongest entries advance to the knockout stages, where one is ultimately crowned champion.

The group stages are available free on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Podcasts and all major podcast platforms, with full uninterrupted episodes and bonus content available to subscribers on Patreon and Spotify.

But what we’re most proud of is that every episode has been recorded, produced, edited, clipped, designed and published from our studios in East London.
