Final two performances of The Servant of Two Masters this Friday and Sunday! We welcome Paula Imana to SIST and welcome back to our stage Robin Kalellis and Frank Williams! Get your tickets now! Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre Company Presents The Servant of Two Masters By Carlo Goldoni Translated by Stephen Mulrine The Servant of Two Masters is a Venetian farce which has been adapted and translated hundreds of times since its creation in 1746, even directly inspiring the English adaptation: “One Man, Two Guvnors.” This ever-relevant piece is a laugh a minute and the gold standard of commedia dell’arte! Written and set during a period of intense political unrest in Venetian history, the historical inhabitants of the sinking city were far too concerned with social capital and leading lives of pleasure in the gorgeous and culturally rich city to bother with the collapse of their democracy. May 22, 24 8:00pm (Sunday matinees at 2:00pm) Staten Island Playhouse at Empire Outlets 55 Richmond Terrace Staten Island, NY 10301, Level 3 (SI Playhouse LOGO) GENERAL ADMISSION: $30, STUDENTS & SENIORS: $27, MEMBERS $25 Purchase tickets online by visiting: sishakespeare.org Featuring: Paula Imana Robin Kalellis Anna Lagrange Daniely Martins Cooper Michael Hailey O’Connell Anthony Pollara Jacob Kalyan Sen Bailey Blu Smith Regan Sou Frank Williams Directed by Emmie D’Amico Movement/Costumes: Shelby Green Production Stage Manager: Megan Wilson Stage Manager: Emma Ferguson Sound Engineer: Michael Alesia Lighting Design: Jamie Casertano Set Construction: Rob Yuzuk Graphic Design: Christopher Sorrentino Producers: Jenny Kelly and Frank Williams

Their kindness and care of each other made creating this show a community act of resistance and joy! Boy do I love directing queerified classic comedies! Every year, the Met Gala reflects whose voices are elevated, what gets celebrated, and whose stories are sidelined. This year, billionaires tried to center themselves. While Jeff Bezos plays host to elite spaces like the Met Gala, Amazon workers are still fighting for basic safety, dignity, and a union contract. That contrast says it all. Across the country, working people are pushing back and shaping a different narrative that is rooted in solidarity, not wealth. We won’t let corporations and the ultra-rich define our culture while profiting off worker exploitation. That’s why Amazon Labor Union–IBT Local 1 is honored to have attended A Ball Without Billionaires, a worker-led alternative centering the people who actually make this world run. We were especially proud to see our Vice President Arlene Kingston take the runway in @cindycastro_nyc 🔥 We will never stop fighting for justice at Amazon. And our movement is growing every single day ✊ #laborisart #ballwithoutbillionaires #metgala #amazonlaborunion
