Well, that was fabulous!

Last Thursday, we filled McHugh’s Tea Room with wine, holiday magic and a wonderful group of women for an Evening of Wine & Design: Would Your Home Pass the Holiday Guest Test?

I shared the interior designer secrets behind the homes everyone wants to be invited to, Kathy Wright showed us how to layer in the holiday magic, and Amy Quinn revealed how lighting completely changes the mood once the sun goes down.

The room was intimate, knew how to have fun, and I so loved meeting you all. Thank you to every amazing woman who came, joined in and made the evening such a laugh - especially my incredible volunteer!

And congratulations to Aude, who won a private in-home consultation with Taashki Studio. We already have something very interesting to talk about involving a kitchen island and an annual Kentucky Derby party… can't wait!

Want an invitation to the next Evening of Wine & Design?

Comment TALKS or send me a DM, and I’ll make sure you hear about it.

Sip, chat, and find out if your home’s holiday-ready with design tips and tasty wine in hand!

Beautiful decorations alone won't make your home the one everyone wants to be invited to — the one where the conversation flows, the glasses keep getting refilled, and no one is quite ready to leave.

That magic begins with a room that draws people in and makes them want to stay.

Join us for an evening designed just for you: an inside look at what it really takes to create a home made for entertaining, from the ground up.

Market days are better with friends. 🤎

Spent today at market with one of my favorite people in the Christmas world — Kathy of Wright Holiday Design.

We walked. We talked. We hunted for beautiful things. We discussed ribbon, greenery, ornaments, design ideas…and then walked some more. Because apparently the Christmas business is also an endurance sport. 😂

One of the things I love most about this industry is the people I’ve met along the way. There’s something pretty special about having a friend who understands the creativity, the chaos, the excitement — and exactly why you can stare at one ornament for five minutes trying to decide if it’s the one.

A very good market day. ❤️
