I had the privilege of supporting my friend @oyebodeanu in her competition for @taef_2026 where she competed with other talented hair stylists to bring out African heritage in hair styling/making. The journey was long and not without its struggles but I'm so proud to say that my baby wonnnnn the competition!!!! It wasn't easy because there were nights she didn't even sleep but kept putting in the work and I'm so glad it worked out well for her❤️🎉. Congratulations my 💕.
I played my part as her campaign manager and I'm so glad with how we all showed up for her🥹. Spot the winner and her model in the last two slides🔥

When I designed this look, I wasn't just thinking about hair. I was thinking about the roots that connect African people across the nation's tribe and tradition.

This is what the Crown and Glory hair competition is about, African heritage expressed through art.
