Issue #47 - Out Now!

In this issue, we send postcards with videographer Gnarly Newton, talk puppets and cagoules with musician Jaime Rosso and get wet at an intertidal allotment with artist Andrew Merritt. Elsewhere, we get the inside track on curating Ashford’s Create Music Village, run away to Santus Circus and ruff it out with the Rogue Shakespeare. Plus much, much more.

Their own place on the grid - because these are simply stunning!
Such an elegant choice. Handwritten matching table numbers and place-names in gold on 300gsm ivory hammered card with a little hand drawn blossom.

My most affordable option and it might just be my favourite.

Another Beary Cute Hot Air Balloon Display.

These have made a comeback this year, we've done blue, we've done green, we've done nude... But a yellow and pink? I don't know about you but I want to see it!

Baby Showers are definitely one of my favourite events to style and I've got some themes on my list I'm desperate to put together so I'll be offering discounts on the following:

- We can't wait to squeeze you 🍋
- Café Bebé ☕
- A little BOO is almost due 🍂
- Winnie the Pooh 🍯
- Our next chapter 📖

If you're looking at getting booked in, availability is limited in the coming months so be sure to secure your date as early as possible. A 25% deposit is required to secure your date.

Could your hotel deliver a flawless event today? 🎤

For hotels and event spaces, great AV isn't just a nice extra, it's what guests remember. Whether it's a wedding speech or a business presentation, every moment depends on your system working perfectly.

That's why the Yarrow Hotel in Broadstairs asked MADE AV to upgrade their system✅

We created a solution that delivers:
- Clear, consistent sound throughout the venue
- Crisp visuals for presentations and displays
- Simple touchscreen controls that anyone can use

The result? A seamless experience for guests, less stress for staff and an AV system that's ready for every event.✅

If your venue is relying on outdated equipment or you're planning a refurbishment, investing in the right setup can transform both your customer experience and your day-to-day operations.

Pretty in Pink 💕🎀

What a night! It was such a privilege to style this year’s Breast Cancer Now Charity Ball, hosted by the absolute legends Graham & Lorraine.

Every year they put together an incredible evening to raise money for such an important cause, and I’m so grateful they trusted me to bring their vision to life once again.

This year’s look featured chair cover sashes, beautiful centrepieces, and a statement split broken arch framing the raffle prize table perfectly. Every little detail came together to create a room full of warmth, style and plenty of pink. 🌸

Thank you again, Graham & Lorraine, for having me. I already can’t wait for next year! 💗

I was appalled, I was pleasantly surprised, and here’s what I learned when I tried to compile a list of wedding venues in Kent and found out what it’s like for disabled wed-to-be’s. I will never forget how I met a couple at several wedding fairs a year apart who still didn’t have a venue that was accessible to them.

But here are all the venues that have a proper accessibility statement:

@crownlodgekent
@turnercontemporary
@theyarrowhotel
@ashford_international_hotel
@leedscastleevents
@therochestercornexchange
@bridgewoodmanorhotelandspa

@canterburycathedrallodge_
@abodecanterbury
@dreamlandmargate

I was at first commissioned to create a new Welcome sign for Graham & Lorraine’s annual Charity Ball in aid of @breastcancernow

….but when I looked into all their fundraising efforts I decided they needed something more special to keep and a sign they can bring out at all of their events throughout the year!

At the moment they have raised an amazing £164,000+ for this charity!!!

So now they have not just a Welcome sign for the Charity Ball held last night @theyarrowhotel but they have a sign to remind everyone at their multiple events of exactly how much they’ve raised that they can change.

@burns_lorraine and Graham thank you for all the hard work you do 💖 it was my pleasure to do my little bit in creating this for you.
