Aboard her boyfriend’s boat “The Wild Duck” for an amazing birthday celebration in true Oksana style!

What a fun filled Greek/Toga themed birthday party!! We had the best time celebrating our dear friend Oksana. She always celebrates in such style!

Of course she had the best DJ there! Okay, I might be a little biased.

Dancing on the cabin seats 😂

Can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next year.

Thankful for this random yet healing keys trip for lobster season w great people 🫶🏻🦞 🎣 🛥️

Following the strange and unusual disappearance of my beloved first son, Prince Caspian, I was genuinely unwell. I couldn’t eat. I was a ball of worry and nerves and guilt. Searching day and night, rain or shine, any moment I wasn’t working in the office I was out in bushes or orchestrating drone searches. When I wasn’t able to search due to work, my friends, coworkers, family, or neighbors would search. I couldn’t stop thinking about worst case possible scenarios related to his disappearance. I had to take a step back from social media to just focus on searching, working, sleeping repeat… but I found it increasingly difficult to focus on anything other than the loss of my cat, who I now believe with 98% certainty to have been taken thanks ti recent discoveries. I’ve had to learn to make peace with reality while trying to maintain a steady pace of hope that MAYBE he will come home to me one day if he has the opportunity.

Everyone close to me could see and feel my anguish related to this situation though. To the point where something needed to give. Thankfully some wonderful people I know had rented a great waterfront home in the Florida Keys, and brought their boats down for lobster season… & they were kind enough to invite me (and @mickey_the_dal )out to get my mind off things, and to learn to lobster. 🦞

While the weather wasn’t exactly in our favor, a little rain doesn’t matter too much when you’re already under water, & I had the best experience expanding my understanding of water skillset to now include lobstering, which was seriously both a fun and delicious treat. Disconnecting completely from worry and tuning in 100% to the underwater ecosystem was just what I needed.

Full days spent underwater lobstering followed by big home cooked (and fresh caught) family style dinners with laughter and fun was exactly what the doctor ordered. Thank you to everyone who made this short little run down to the Keys so healing, and thank you for help getting my mind off the loss of my Prince Caspian. Much love to all yall xx 🦞
