Today is my birthday. It feels heavy and beautiful all at once. Because the road here hasn’t been easy. There were days that asked for more strength than I thought I had. Nights I cried and mornings I still had to get up. But every time I thought I’d run out of strength, grace found me. My family has walked through hard valleys this year, scary moments where all we could do was hold on and pray. And still, God gave us strength, gave us hope when we had none. And then there are pains that don’t go away, like missing my mom, wishing for a call I know won’t come. It hurts in a way words can’t hold. But even there I feel the quiet reminder that I’m still standing. Not because I’m strong all the time, but because God has been merciful. I won’t take credit for what grace has done. So on my birthday, my first prayer is simple. Thank you. Thank you for carrying me when I was too tired to walk. That’s why today I celebrate not just another year, but survival. growth, mercy, and the quiet strength that kept me here. Happy birthday to me. I made it, by grace. . . . . . .
