Auxigen will be back at @thinking.man.tavern next week on Wednesday, October 28thth. If you're a beatmaker, a producer, an electronic musician, etc., pull through and play some of your music! If you're none of the aforementioned roles, come enjoy a free concert of amazing musicians that the algorithm won't provide. The rules are as follows: Sign your name up on the list, connect to our auxiliary cable. All genres made are welcome. We'll see you soon! ✌️🫁

We'll have a special, secret guest DJ opening for the night. Get there at 8pm sharp for their set. 🤫

Auxigen at Thinking Man Tavern
537 W Howard Ave
October 28th, 8pm-midnight
Free entry, free to play

Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I sign up? What time should I show up?
- When you arrive at the venue, there will be a sign up sheet next to the DJ booth. An announcement will be made when it is made available. The more people we have before the open aux starts, the sooner the sign up sheet comes out.

Do I have to connect via aux cable?
- It's preferred, but we'll also have RCA cables and quarter inch cables for you to use. Please condense your set up down to only need one out to the mixer.

Can I play beats from my phone/laptop?
- Absolutely!

Are there any rules?
- We show nothing but love and positivity towards everyone and their creations. Rude and disrespectful behavior is strictly not tolerated. Please be able to set up to play within two minutes or less.

Can I do live vocals?
- No. If you've created tracks wherein you've got vocals, please play either the instrumental or the studio version with pre-recorded vocals; we will not have a microphone for this use.

How can I sign up as the opening DJ before the open aux segment?
- DM us!

What's the best slot # to take?
- Every slot number is valuable. Yes, that includes #1.

How long are sets?
- 7 minutes maximum.

Who can I talk to at the event if I have any on-site questions?
- @francoiscustardoy @theuncannyimp

It's Monday! You know what that means right? "The start of another week," I hear you murmur, which is absolutely correct. However, the answer we were looking for is "we're two days away from the next Auxigen event", which is technically also correct. And you know what they say, "[technically correct] is the best kind of correct."

Wednesday, October 14th at 8pm will be when the opening DJ will start at, 9pm will start the open aux (or sooner if we have a lot of sign ups early on), with the sign up sheet appearing sometime between these hours. Come play your music, or come see a free show! We'll see you soon. 🫁🫁🫁✌️

We've officially entered the weekend, which for a lot of us means more free time to create music. This upcoming Wednesday, October 14th, will mark the next Auxigen open aux where we can show off everything we'll make this weekend, connect with other producers, and find a breather during the middle of the week. Mark your calendars and we'll see you soon! The event will be at @thinking.man.tavern at 8pm. 🫁🫁🫁
