Justin is heading into his next chapter at Tattoo-Icons Art Gallery, and we’re sending him off with love from the IOD crew. 🖤 From his first year with us to coming back for round two, we’re grateful to have had Justin as part of our shop and our story. He may not have been the loudest one in the room, but every now and then, he’d drop a comment that was absolute gold. Quietly working away, then casually delivering one of the funniest lines of the day. The man knew how to pick his moment. And when it came to tattoos, he liked to go big. Give him a large black-and-grey piece and a full session to dig into it, and he was in his element, putting that love for detail, depth, and realism to work. Justin, thank you for the work, the laughs, and the time you’ve shared with Ink or Dye. We’re wishing you all the best in your new spot, with good people in your chair and plenty of big projects to keep you busy. Tattoo-Icons, enjoy the one-liners. 8! It’s hard to put into words what this place has become. We’ve won awards, made it to Hollywood, been featured in newspapers and on TV, welcomed thousands of people through community fundraisers, worked alongside incredible artists from around the world, and somehow built a following that reaches far beyond this little shop on Main Street. But none of that is the real story. The real story is the people in this photo; and all the people who have been part of Ink or Dye along the way. We’ve celebrated together, struggled together, laughed until we cried, actually cried, disagreed, fought with each other and, more importantly, fought for each other. We’ve watched one another grow as artists, professionals, parents, friends and people. Ink or Dye has never just been a tattoo shop. It’s a family. Imperfect, constantly changing, occasionally chaotic, but fiercely connected. There’s something here that I’ve never really been able to explain. Something you can’t manufacture, advertise or put into a business plan. You have to experience it. Eight years later, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built, but even more proud of who we’ve become together. Thank you to every artist, employee, client, friend, family member and supporter who has walked any part of this journey with us. Happy 8 years, Ink or Dye. ❤️ Here’s to whatever the hell comes next.

Things you may not know about Ink or Dye Studio: We pride ourselves in being the cleanest shop our clients have ever visited (based off verified reviews). Our friendly, educated, staff makes sure all emails and direct messages are responded to on a daily basis. Our shop is thoroughly cleaned by hospital grade disinfectants every day, including the floors. We employ two 3rd party cleaning services, who come in during closed hours for interior and exterior scrubbing. All employees are required to obtain BBP training and certification. All employees are required to take an in-house CPR and first-aid course provided by a licensed specialist. All employees are educated on OSHA requirements and expectations. Our contactless digital release forms are protected and certified. Our products and inks are inspected regularly for expiration dates and certified sterile. We even offer vegan friendly products and inks! Our employees are all provided with the best PPE on the market. Our autoclave is tested monthly by a 3rd party spore test service. We employee a 3rd party company to dispose of, and incinerate all biohazard waste. Our clientele ranges from college students, nurses, doctors and lawyers, to health department workers. We also tattoo and support our local police departments and government officials. Our custom built website has a variety of clothing, aftercare, jewelry, gift certificates, and more. We regularly ship nationwide. Our 140 year old building is a staple in our community, with constant renovation and maintenance projects being performed by the best local contractors. We love our community and do our best to support it with donations, and fundraising events. Our shop owner, management, and employees, have worked tirelessly to give you the best, safest, and memorable experience here; and continue to educate ourselves and others on safety, customer service, techniques, and styles. We truly strive to be the best version of ourselves.
