Lori & Craig’s wedding was the ultimate masterclass in elegance. Industrial architecture meets high-end luxury. ✨ From the immersive canopy of hanging crystals and glowing chandeliers to the clean lines of the candlelit long-table reception, every detail felt like a work of art (I mean, the seating chart structure was a literal work of art!!). The deep burgundy drapery framing the dessert bar and that intricate custom train ice sculpture were the perfect concluding touches. Swipe to see that incredible ice sculpture setup! 🧊🚂 Photos provided by @theessencemn | Venue Planning & Design | @artfuleventsdesign Catering | @chowgirlscatering Bar Services | @theessencemn Photography | @mallonfilms Lighting + Ceiling Draping | @phosevents Floral Design | @reverie.floral.design Band | @jennifergrimmofficial Hair & Makeup | @jesus.arte Rentals | @lineneffects Ice Bar | @mn.ice Desserts Backdrop | @rojasceilingdraping Cake | @thirstywhalebakery Stationery | @mintedweddings Seating Display | @jill.elaine @girlfridaycreative

There’s been a lot of conversation lately about intimate weddings, micro weddings, and elopements vs larger weddings, and as someone who photographs them all, I love them all. I also think it’s worth remembering: trends don’t get to decide what your wedding looks like. You do. Maybe your dream wedding is 15 people on a mountain. Maybe it’s 150 people on a dance floor until midnight. Maybe it’s your entire extended family, every friend you’ve ever made, and a reception that feels a little chaotic in the best possible way. The best wedding is the one where you look around and think, “These are my people. This feels like us.” This wedding from last year was a big one, and it was just right for them. Full of people they loved, big emotions, a packed dance floor, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with bringing a lot of people together. So whether your wedding is 5 people or 250, my advice is the same: Plan the wedding you actually want. Not the one the internet says you should want. ✨ Vendor credits: @athenalovebridalbeauty @hiveandhollow @barnatcoppercreek @dboieentertainment @thirstywhalebakery @sweetlegacyevents #MinnesotaWeddingPhotographer #barnatcoppercreek #MinnesotaWeddingPhotography #WeddingPlanning WeddingTrends IntimateWedding AuthenticWedding MinneapolisWeddingPhotographer

There are venues that photograph well. And then there are venues that change the way a day feels. It’s the walk through the trees. The slow moments between everything else. The feeling that no one is in a hurry for the day to end. 🪾 #mnweddingphotography #minnesotaweddingphotography #flowstate #mnweddingvenue #mnweddingphotographer

Mini cake for us, delicious desserts for our guests.🤍 One wedding trend we’ll never get tired of? Couples sharing an intimate little cake for the cutting while treating their guests to a spread of bite-sized desserts. From macarons to mini cheesecakes and everything in between, it’s the sweetest way to add variety, keep the party moving, and make sure everyone leaves with their favorite treat!🥰🍰 A little cake for the two of you, a little something special for everyone else.💫 Photography | @asherjames.co Cake | @thirstywhalebakery Mini Desserts | @mintahoe #vandusenmansion

Take me back already!! The most wonderful long weekend away to celebrate 5 years of marriage doing what we love most. Outside, up north, on the lake. RyRy even got his own adventure with Gigi and Bapa at the lake. Solid weekend and so many memories made. 🤍👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏼💍🥂🐶

Four months. That’s all Sam and Alex gave themselves to plan a wedding that somehow felt like it had existed forever. A horse drawn carriage rolling through Hope Glen Farm. A violinist turning dinner into something cinematic. The kind of people around them who make a room feel louder, warmer, fuller without even trying. Pulling off impossible things in what seems like impossible timing and making it flow like a dream is what we are all about🥂 Congratulations to Sam + Alex 💚 5.23.2026 #mnweddingphotography #mnweddingphotographer #minnesotaweddingphotography #minnesotaweddingphotographer #flowstate
