Heard of Sweet @sweetretreatgelato in Bowral? Then you’re going to want to know about @gelatodrops , bringing that same love of exceptional gelato and sorbet straight to Canberra.

Picture a beautiful spring afternoon by the lake, a spontaneous date in the sunshine or a family movie night at home. Everything is perfect, except for one thing. Gelato! but the kind that makes you close your eyes after the first spoonful

Enter Gelato Drops

We are 100% obsessed with this genius delivery concept, bringing premium gelato straight to your door. Because honestly, why should a gelato craving ever have to wait?

As lovers of picnics, beautiful food & creating sweet little moments together, we couldn’t think of a better way to spend a glorious spring afternoon than soaking up the sunshine with a generous spread of ice-cold gelato. Yes, you read that right. Gelato in the sunshine, and it was every bit as dreamy as it sounds.

Laura from Gelato Drops has curated a beautiful range of options, from 500ml tubs right through to generous 2-litre tubs, making it easy to cater for everything from an intimate date to a family gathering. And if you’re looking for something extra special, their collaboration with House De Fleurs pairs premium gelato with a bespoke floral bouquet. Gelato and flowers delivered together? Consider us sold.

The boys spotted those vibrant, generously scooped tubs from the other side of the lake and came running. Needless to say, they didn’t need a second invitation.

On the menu, we sampled:

• Blueberry Sorbet
• Passionfruit Sorbet
• Salted Pistachio
• Boysenberry Cheesecake
• Bounty
• Rainbow
• Cinnamon Donut
• Mint Choc Chip

The sorbets were bright and refreshing, the sweeter flavours brought all the nostalgic joy, and the Salted Pistachio? Oh, the Salted Pistachio.

Both the husband & I are now convinced we need a permanent supply hooked directly into our veins. No joke!

Whether it’s a picnic by the lake, a date night at home, a celebration or simply a Tuesday afternoon that calls for something sweet, Gelato Drops is bringing a little extra magic to Canberra.

Because sometimes, the only thing missing from a perfect moment
