Live drawings from the summer. I like the toned paper… might have to bring it back.

Drawing in the pit at Lip Critic was epic, my sketchbook was all sweat, scribbles and someone’s shoe scuffs from stage diving

Huge shout outs love support & appreciation for @djandykclt team staff @stylussoundlounge @soulgastro
Hugs to everyone that remembered me and showed up to hear new songs. It was great time traveling with those that had stories and memories to share.
I was impressed by the response to my early set of cinematic indie pop rock from Seattle, especially Byland & Packaging.
I had people asking who was playing enough I tried to utilize the cover art placard holder. I had requests for my set list and if I’m going to carry 153 plates of vinyl, seven 7 inch 45 rpm singles, 4 cd’s & 3 post-card records across the country I should celebrate what was played out. Lessons learned.
I brought too much as usual but held out hope for the “other gig” to come to fruition and it didn’t, I melded my own beats and sonics in on three occasions and think it was only noticed once which is a good thing, seamless. I bought & brought way too much new music. I think it was good to expand my pallet but when trying to keep a groove going I played more familiar songs than I expected to.
When the @plastikman f-k tour shirt is in the house you might as well double beat the entire Robotman catalog.

I just got back from spending 17 days on Nantucket Island thanks to the kind folks over at @almanackarts

I’ve never done an artist residency, and this one felt like the holy grail of them all. It was really inspiring spending time with @thisisdeepseadiver @hand.habits @vagabonvagabon @wet and @anna__fox !!

No more island time for Lou, back to work!

Pedals pedals pedals!! So many sonic highways to explore!
.
What is your all-time favourite pedal? Let's get nerdy in the comments!
.
Mine is the @bensonamps @thisisdeepseadiver
Fuzz Echo - the wonderful guitar hero Jessica @thisisjdobson signature pedal! Such an incredible sounding fuzz with a ton of options on tap and a built-in delay with stunning analog feedback.
