big Jesus girl 💚
i will build my life on Jesus, a firm foundation who gives me strength to stand. #stsmvmnt #strengthtostand

~Events such as Strength to Stand, Passion, Church Camps & many more are always amazing experiences that leave us feeling uplifted & confident in our faith prior to leaving. These mountaintop experiences are truly a blessing, but what about when you start down the mountain? Often we will go to these events & make all these “changes” in our life for things we plan to do, then once were back into routine, once we hit the valley, we go right back into our same old routine. why?

~Because we place our faith on these mountain top experiences that wont last. Time will pass. Challenges & tribulations will come & if our faith & life is built on anything other than Jesus Christ, we. will. fall.

~These experiences are openings to enter new ways of living & rewards for our past tribulations that we overcame through Jesus.

~In other words, for every mountain top experience there is a corresponding experience to come on the way down. What happens on the mountain is meant to prepare us for those experiences.

~if you don’t use what you experienced on the mountain to effect the valley, then they might as well be quick reactions to a fleeting moment. Choose God daily & take on this corrupt world with him by your side. you wont regret it :)
