Nice Strong Arm were one of the bands in 80’s Austin that I saw and loved the most. I’m pretty sure seeing them set my mind on being in a band and being a part of things. They played in a lotta ratholes back then, so it was joy to see them in a joint as nice and cool as 29th St Ballroom. Go see them on this tour if you can, because 36 more years aren’t in the cards for all of us. I’m not band photographer (or a skate photographer or a food photographer) but I will tell you with words that Ewe was also great as was Gerard, who sounded like a Boeing taking off. Thanks for coming and thanks for letting the boys and myself be part of things.
