The UPLYFT Group recently received the Community Leadership Award at the first-anniversary celebration of @eric_grantham Eric’s ID Law, in recognition of our community engagement and advocacy in support of the law.

Enacted under House Bill 707 and Senate Bill 618, Eric’s ID Law provides a voluntary designation on Maryland driver’s licenses, ID cards, and moped permits for individuals with non-apparent developmental or intellectual disabilities.

There’s no single playbook for leadership. Some lessons only come from doing the work.

From building teams to making tough decisions, every experience shapes how you lead, grow, and create impact.

Here are a few unhinged things I’ve done as a CEO @thisisikeo . 👀

It was an honor to join @_officialneu and @thisisikeo in recognizing Maryland Comptroller @brookeelierman for her continued service to communities across our state .

As the first woman independently elected to one of Maryland’s statewide constitutional offices, Comptroller Lierman’s journey reflects the importance of leadership, representation, and public service. Her office’s work modernizing government operations and supporting Maryland families and businesses continues to strengthen our state’s future.

As a healthcare advocate and CEO of @rayofhopemd Healthcare, I’m grateful for leaders who prioritize the wellbeing of Maryland’s families and communities.

Thank you to @_officialneu and @thisisikeo for hosting such a meaningful evening, and to Comptroller Lierman for her continued service to the people of Maryland.

There is something special about being in a room where leadership, experience, ambition, community, and collaboration come together. At the 2026 CBC Reception every connection and conversation offered an opportunity to learn something new. I’m truly grateful to have been part of this memorable evening. Here’s to continued connection, collaboration, community, and creating meaningful impact wherever we find ourselves! #CBC

Behind every beautiful gathering are people who prayed, planned, served and made room for it to happen.

We are deeply grateful to the incredible planning and prayer team who helped bring our time in Washington, D.C. and the DMV together.

A very special thank you to the leadership team led by Pastor Ike Ogbuebile, and to every member of this remarkable team who gave their time, opened doors, made connections, prayed with us and served so generously.

What we experienced was made possible by many hands and many hearts. Thank you for helping us lay the foundations for what comes next.

Thank You for Making History. 💎

To every guest who attended, every sponsor, partner, vendor, donor, volunteer, award recipient, performer, speaker, and every individual who believed in our mission—thank you.

The UPLYFT Blue Diamond Gala & Fundraiser was more than an event. It was a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together with one purpose: to create a future where individuals with autism and developmental disabilities are embraced with acceptance, inclusion, opportunity, and hope.

Your presence, generosity, and support brought our vision to life.

This is only the beginning.

From all of us at The UPLYFT Group, thank you for believing in the vision and for standing with us.

Until next year... keep uplifting lives. 💙✨
