MANIC IMPRESSIVE

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

John and I sat down to make his next EP and got distracted talking about the path we were on and how different it looked from where we started. Different people, different places, different things.

This EP has some of the greatest music he’s made with his new guitarist and housemate, with his live band instrumentalists, and without worrying about *his genre*. It’s a collection that feels singer-songwriter, pop, folk, rock, even just nostalgic.

The one thing that was clear about this EP from the start was that John wanted to honor the people he considered really special in his life. We set out to create a cover that doesn’t just feel like the music, it feels like a moment in our lives and a reminder to always have fun with your friends. Thank you to everyone we can call ours.

This is the Chili’s sampler of EPs, and I say that as a good thing. Knowing this project front to back and knowing you all pretty well, there’s at least one song on here for you specifically and I hope you give it a shot to figure out which one. Text an old friend, hug your best one, check on the one you keep putting off.

SCENES FROM KISS KISS BANG BANG 😘😘💥💥

As soon as you walk into @kkbbla it feels different. Everyone is dancing, everyone is smiling, and yes… everyone is shakin that ass! It’s a breath of fresh air in world where we dive into our phones and often lose sight of real connection. But Saturday the 18th I found my joy and I saw it in so many others. Truly a blessing to find true connection on the dance floor.

Thank you to everyone that came out.
Thank you to my dear friends that are family.
Thank you to the amazing staff @kkbbla
Thank you to the girls freaking out about my 12-12 remix.
Thank you to the boys that stayed all the way till the lights came on and went absolutely nuts to my last song.
Thank you to @clavettemusic for giving me the honor to play.
Thank you to @paradisco.la and @stereo.punks for being the absolute BEST.

I love you all. Always.

See you on the dance floor,
Nathan Miles
