2025
A year of change, growth and miracles.
I am so proud of myself for how much "I lived" and accomplished this past year.

~ I worked with a company that taught me love, patience and to see everyone the way God sees them, despite their differences
~ I went back to princessing
~ I auditioned for the Hunchback of Notre Dame and met the most incredible, talented people while working with Hurricane Theatrical
~ I spontaneously went to Disneyland!
~ I taught my first ever children's musical theatre class
~ I tried film acting
~ I went back to visit the places and the people who stole my heart on my mission. I also faced my fear of heights hiking the Via Ferrata and jumping off a cliff into a canyon swing
~ I chopped and dyed my hair...again
~ I went on a canoeing/kayaking trip
~ I moved to Idaho/ started and completed my first semester of college
~learned how to tap
~ oh I even attempted to learn how to ride a dirtbike (video included)

A few months ago, I was telling a friend of a few crazy things I had done and they responded with "Wow, you're not the Genavieve I remember." At first, I didn't know how to react, but then I took it and ran. I used it as motivation to keep making choices and doing things past me would have been too chicken to do. I still have a lot of fears and "blocks" that will try to prevent me from reaching the potential God sees in me, but through Him, I know I can overcome any challenge life has in store. Whether big or small, everything I have experienced this year has pushed me to become the best version of myself I can possibly be.

And for anyone who has read this far, and who knows my family, the biggest miracle of 2025: Yesterday, a few hours before midnight, we received news that we had received the water to wine miracle we, and so many of our loved ones had been praying for. We have obtained the passports AND visas (within four hours of each other - which is IMPOSSIBLE) needed to bring my siblings home...next week. Thank you for everyone who has kept us in your prayers and supported us in any way possible through this process. It has not gone unnoticed and we have felt all the love. Words cannot express our gratitude🤍

November 🦃

Wowee what a month! I’ve been on what’s been called the au revouir tour which can be overwhelming but I’m so glad to have been able to see so many people before I leave! I’ve been able to do princess events, go to wicked 3 times (I loved it if you couldn’t tell), stay in an RV with my fam for Thanksgiving, celebrate my sister finishing culinary school and witness my best friend get engaged!! All of which wouldn’t have been possible if I had left when I was supposed to so I am so glad to have been blessed with this extra time to soak up this happiness before I leave. Thank you to everyone who made an effort to see me! Lots aren’t documented on here but just know that it’s meant the world to me and I love you all very much 🫶🏻 can’t believe I leave so soon!!

It has taken me so long to post because I still can’t handle the fact that my Nauvoo chapter is over. Being called to serve as a Nauvoo Performance missionary has changed my life forever. It was in Nauvoo where I learned what it meant to be in a Zion community; where all can gather and feel our Saviors love. It was in Nauvoo where I gained lifelong friendships with the saints I was blessed to serve with. Most importantly it was in Nauvoo where I learned to love all and to feel joy in my Savior. As you search, you will find that He is joy.
“These were days never to be forgotten,” Oliver Cowdery once wrote. And so, they were.

“Is He Worthy”
On the mission we were able to have the opportunity to share our testimonies through music and I’m so grateful for the connections and Joy that my time in Nauvoo gave me! It’s been almost a month since being home and I miss it but I can’t express the gratitude I have for the experience God gave me to express my love for this Gospel! I love this Gospel and I am a much happier person because of it🤍

Has it already been two weeks? Since the best summer and fall I've seen?
To me Nauvoo stands as a symbol of the resurrection. Despite all the trials, persecutions, and destruction, the town has come back to life and the temple stands again! Like the resurrected Christ in all of his glory. All is made right in him, the light and life of the world. Hold to the iron rod! Be healed, miracles happen here and abroad. Thank you for this experience, to serve, minister, and be ministered to. I will never forget this most amazing time. And we will go forth, building Zion everywhere.
