TLDR, JK please read part 3/3:

My treatment started today and it’ll be six rounds of chemo (infusion) in tandem with antibody shots (injection) that’ll continue until July 2026. Come November, I’ll get another MRI+mammogram to asses progress and we’ll take it from there. I’ll be getting treatments on Fridays to have recovery weekends, I’ll be wearing a cooling cap to minimize hair loss (google it, it’s v cool), I’ll be exercising and working and maintaining a routine.

I’m approaching this whole situation with clinically insane optimism and dark humor. I’m grateful that I’m getting the best care and that I’m surrounded by friends and family who’ll do anything for me to feel supported. This will be a blip on my life radar. I’m so fucking ready to treat this and continue to live the rich and vibrant life I’m so #blessed to be living.
